the d family

Taking advantage of the last days of warmth around these parts, this family decided it was now or never to be photographed. We had a lot fun! Boy, was it different being around all those boys! I’m so used to all the girlyness around my house. They really proved my stereotypes wrong about boys though because these boys were sweet and so willing to get their pictures taken. The D Family came armed with lots of smiles, and we had a blast in the process.

little girl blue

What a treat for me this past weekend! The B family invited me to photograph them with special focus on Baby A. Baby A was not very interested in my appearance, but we managed to squeeze out a few smiles from her. This family also had the most spectacular backyard and landscaping with a pond.

the e family

It was fun to work with an “older” group this time. Up until now I’ve always had photo shoots that included chasing after wee ones, but not this time. I could actually tell ALL of my models what to do, and they actually listened to me.

carefree and spunky…the last d.c. shoot EVER

I can’t begin to tell you how fun it was to snap this family. O and G, the kids, were full of personality and had me laughing during much of the shoot. They also moved this summer to the great state of Washington. Talk about a major change all the away across the country.

I don’t know why this one makes me giggle. Maybe it’s G peeking over the edge.

This is their true personality. Who wants to just sit and smile?

How could I not include this? This kid should go into acting or at least comedy.

delightful

It was hard not to feel biased toward this family since they reminded me so much of my own with 2 sweet girls. These young ladies were very close, and it’s so obvious in the pictures of just them. My heart melted when I saw how well they played together and how big sister watched her with loving eyes. I wanted to scoop them up and take them home.

I cracked up at this one. Baby S is looking at me like she’d really want me to be somewhere else.

Look at these two, how sweet!
